I'll be the presenter for a Quiet Day in December, and God has already given me the theme for the day, thanks to my new favorite song, "Count the Stars" by Josh Bales, a priest/singer/songwriter that I heard at the OSL Conference last month.
The song is about counting the stars and seeing them as God's promises... imagery that takes us back to Abraham, and all the others that God made promises to about things they could never have dreamed of.
Living in expectancy of God's promises: a perfect topic for Advent!! I can't wait to get started!
