I spend a lot of time studying and reading about God... and about different people's ideas ABOUT God. Sometimes I get confused. Often I think I have something figured out, only to run across yet another question.
I'll never claim to have all the answers, if ANY answers at all, to questions of doctrine.
Many of the things we have questions, concerns, doctrines, dogma, volumes and volumes of theological treatises on ... really don't matter.
The fact is, I'll never know the answers for sure until I see HIM face-to-face. And when I see him face-to-face, what will ANYTHING else matter?
So while I'll probably never give up studying and reading, my first and foremost concern is to seek his FACE... right now. All other things will grow strangely dim in the light of his countenance.
