I just returned from a wonderful healing conference in Lake Charles, LA, where I led the worship music and offered a soaking prayer session. It was uplifting and joyous, as usual!
AND...as usual, the day after returning from some awesome God time, the enemy has infiltrated, making me feel mentally icky for no apparent reason. I recognize it for what it is, and I'm just waiting it out... breathing in and breathing out, waiting for the music to change, like during a movie, when I've got my eyes covered.
But I'm thinking that a better idea might be to spend some "yada" time.
"Yada" is the Hebrew counterpart of the Greek word for "know" used in this verse: "This is eternal life, that they might KNOW Thee, the only true God and Jesus Christ whom Thou has sent." (John 17:3), meaning "to be involved in an intimate, growing relationship."
Prayer is our yada time... the link between lovers, quietly sensing each other's presence, being totally available to one another.... treasuring one another so much that we desire to be together constantly. It is a feasting on one another's love.
Yep. I think I'll have some yada time RIGHT NOW.
